Well, that is some good news.
Democrat momentum is going down in flames.
I guess that is something.
I’m seeing this from several fronts: A lot of democrats are waking up to what is happening. This will snowball. They tried to turn up the heat too fast. This will be fun to watch.
Nancy blinked. Stick a fork in her. She rules by abusing.
Wait until Biden hits 30%, they quickly trot out president Kamala, and the bounce never happens.
"10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.
The remedy for unconstitutionally big, Democratic-pirated federal government that is oppressing everybody under its boots...
Consider that all the states can effectively “secede” from the unconstitutionally big federal government by doing the following.
Patriots need to primary federal and state elected officials who don't send voters email ASAP that clearly promises to do the following.
Federal and state lawmakers need to promise in their emails to introduce resolutions no later than 100 days after start of new legislative sessions that proposes an amendment to the Constitution to the states to repeal the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments, but also an amendment to clean up the judiciary.
Corrections, insights welcome.
I would dearly like to see that happening, but...I am skeptical.
When this bill never passes in any form, I will accept the “derail” and “moderate Democrat” characterization.
Until then, the cynic in me sees political posturing.
I despise being cynical. But here I am.
From what I read negotiations are still going so your cynicism may not be misplaced.
I hate it. I have always tried to foster healthy skepticism, but in the past couple of decades, I have become cynical.
My cynicism wouldn’t be so oppressive to me if it occasionally worked out the opposite way, but...that rarely happens.
Really? I can imagine no bigger threat to the existence of a middle class than these leftist plans to subvert productive private enterprise.
Centrist democraps are the ones who are probably skating to get re-elected. There is no such thing as a centrist democrat.
In some Circles they call them pivot men.
“The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven’t got it.”
George Bernard Shaw
(Yeah, I know he was a fascist progressive)
.
The GOP Leadership voted for the $1.2 Trillion Porkfrastructure.
And Nancy made it crystal clear that it would be combined with $3.5 T to kill the country. More than any country has spent in the history of the World.
A few might want payoffs, and no-show jobs for their families.
.
LOL, even fascist progressives can tell the right time twice a day!
You have reason to be cynical. You’ve earned it - we all have. We’ve been playing Charlie Brown to Lucy’s football for far too long.
“Moderates” caved, no need to apologize for being cynical
