In the White House today, senior-level staffers are locked in meetings behind closed doors and the corridors are nearly empty.
The president has joined an emergency G7 meeting through a video link.
Meanwhile, aides are trying to sort out what he wants to do now, and whether he will keep troops in Kabul longer to allow the evacuation of US citizens, as well as those in Kabul who were promised a safe passage to the West.
The president and his aides are also trying to come to terms with searing criticism from US allies that the US can no longer be trusted, a response to the way that Biden decided, on his own, to withdraw troops from Afghanistan in a sudden manner.
The liberal “fiasco”, as his Afghanistan policy is now known in Washington, continues, while he tries to save people in Kabul, and his own reputation.

BS, aides are trying to sort out what to tell demented Biden to do based on his puppet masters desires.
The biggest problem with lying is that after you told hundreds and thousands of lies, it starts to get difficult to keep all the lies straight.
Fortunately, these days the sociopaths have computers to help them manage this.
;-)
Must be a hoot working at the Pentagon these days.
Hey, turtle said BUYdung should just ignore the 8/31 deadline. Could give new meaning to “DEAD line”.
Are troops helping evacuations now ? Last I heard it was virtually impossible to reach the airport under any condition.
They have no idea what to do and no will. What they are doing is political spin and damage control.
Jill Biden owes America an apology.
This from the backstabbing ally that helped our Deep State install the POTATUS...
The UK owes the US an apology.
Crisis! A Democrat growth industry.
Biden isn’t deciding anything. The man’s mind, what little he had, is shot.
The media is keeping a lid on this, the average American still has internet access on their phone, uber eats, and reality tv. The public doesn’t care, at least the public around me doesn’t.
BBC Headline yesterday was that most of American stands behind Biden and supports his leadership in the crisis.
How so?
They should be doing some crisis management in Congress, to wit: rise up and demand the immediate resignation of Joe Biden. And they don’t need hearings or a year of investigations. It should be done at once. He’s unfit to serve, period.
No “impeachment hearings.” There’s no time to spare. The legislators must demand his resignation and keep demanding it until they get it.
Yes, it will result in a President Harris, but if she continues the damage she should understand she’ll get the same treatment.
The situation is unprecedented. We’re in unknown territory. Understood. But he simply cannot be allowed to remain in office for another three years and five months. And we cannot afford to wait a year and a half for the (possible but not guaranteed) election of Republicans to turn things around.
This is like Jimmy Carter Part 2.
When you have clowns in DC, every day is a new crisis.
(same principle works in the corporate world as well—idiots in the executive suite guarantee crisis after crisis)
How do we knock this out of the news cycle?
How do we tell the Allies whose citizens we put in peril being splashed all over their news cycles to shut up?
How do we stop Joe from grinning ear to ear while everyone knows the executions are happening 24/7?
How do we censor pictures and video coming out of Afghanistan?
Honestly, there is NO WAY to spin this.
Yep, it's spinning out of control is what it is.
The “crisis”, according to the WH staff and Democrat machine, is a “crisis” only because the American people are too dumb to realize how wonderfully perfect the BideMe Administration is handling everything.
