I was at Wicks Pizza in Louisville once ordering a pizza. At the bar there was a basketball game going on on one of the video monitors. It was pretty lame, but I watched, trying to figure out why it was being broadcast. I thought maybe it was some popular high school team or something. Kentuckians are really into their college basketball so I thought this lame game might be fallout from that.
Nope. It was WNBA. I can’t believe people pay real money to watch that.
Personally, I think watching basketball is almost, but not quite, as exciting as watching paint dry. When my son played in middle school sure, it was fun to watch the kids. But why bother to watch adults prance about throwing a ball at a hoop? Me just don’t gets it!!!
