Illegal is one thing - that would be a defense.
“Rule 916(d) of the Manual for Courts Martial says:
It is a defense to any offense that the accused was acting pursuant to orders unless the accused knew the orders to be unlawful or a person of ordinary sense and understanding would have known the orders to be unlawful.”
Problem is - dumb, stupid, however we want to describe the current orders, I don’t think they cross the “unlawful” line. The media keeps telling us Biden won the election, they own everything he does. I hate to think how there is a very real potential more American lives will be taken than in 9/11 and 20 years of war combined, and the number of Afghan’s that will be killed based on even suspicions of working with the coalition will far exceed that number. The bloodbath is coming - they will likely hold out until 9/11/21 and then broadcast endless beheadings in their celebration of victory.
