CBW ACT SANCTIONS
Description of Sanctions: Pursuant to the Chemical and Biological Weapons Control and Warfare Elimination Act of 1991 (the CBW Act), the United States will impose a second round of sanctions on the Russian Federation over its use of a “Novichok” nerve agent in the August 2020 poisoning of Russian opposition figure Aleksey Navalny.
New sanctions imposed today under the CBW Act include:
Restrictions on the permanent imports of certain Russian firearms. New and pending permit applications for the permanent importation of firearms and ammunition manufactured or located in Russia will be subject to a policy of denial. *** Duration and Conditions for Removal
These latest sanctions on Russia pursuant to the CBW Act will take effect upon the publication of a Federal Register notice expected on September 7, 2021, and they will remain in place for a minimum of 12 months. The sanctions can only be lifted after a 12-month period if the Executive Branch determines and certifies to Congress that Russia has met several conditions described in the CBW Act, 22 U.S.C. 5605(c), including (1) providing reliable assurances that it will not use chemical weapons in violation of international law, (2) it is not making preparations to use chemical weapons in the future, (3) it is willing to allow international inspectors to verify those assurances, and (4) it is making restitution to Mr. Navalny.

I don’t use Russian ammo as I like my guns. This will undoubtedly drive up the price of ammo.
Death of the 2nd Amendment by a thousand cuts.
FUJB
Our government abandoned pallets of ammo, automatic weapons, night vision, body armor, armored vehicles and air assets to the Taliban.
They come hanging around talking about "gun control", they'll be seized, and have the teeth beaten out of their lying faces.
It's not "gun control" - it's "American peasant gun control".
The Uniparty will supply Islamic jihadists and Mexican drug cartels with all the automatic weapons they want.
There, fixed it.
Regards,
Russian ammo is great in my AK. I don’t care if it keyholes after 5,000 rounds.
Won’t feed it thru my AR.
But 7.62x54R is good stuff, just clean after use. (Dragunov’s suck, sorry.)
Buy an FN/FAL instead of Russian “sniper rifles”. 🤮🤮
But allowed Russia to build the pipeline earning them billions
He wasn’t poisoned by nerve gas. Another State Department lie meant to restrict guns. The US government is completely dishonest.
He was poisoned right. But whom? I say see who benefits of poisoning oppositioneer whose election rate was around 2%. And who was completely on the western dole.
I’d say Navalnij sponsors got tired of funding him and given nothing in return. With 2% of rate he had no prospect to win any election. So they used him as sacral sacrifice to try create the international scandal. And the scandal they created but what is their proceeds of it I don’t get. Putin actually came out of it with the bigger support of people because the foreign attack on him considered as the attack on Russia.
Right now, Russia is the 2nd largest supplier of petroleum imports to the US after Canada.
In other words the firearms/ammo thing is not about the faux poisoning of Navalny, it’s about incrementally drying up citizen’s access to firearms, and ammo.
I am so tired of the games my Government plays on us.
Biden waived sanctions on the Russian Nord Stream 2 pipeline after he canceled the Keystone pipeline.
He is undoubtedly public enemy number 1.
Not sure what you’re talking about. Use exclusively Russian made monarch, tulammo, and wolf, only had two failures to fire. That’s lifetime, 30+ years.
I clean and oil my weapons every Sunday whether they’ve been fired or not.
Why won’t it feed through your AR? My roommate buys cases upon cases of monarch for his and it always worked and we shoot a lot.
Maybe describe the problem please? Thanks in advance
Keyholing after 5k rounds is interesting as well. Is your AK US built? If so, there is your problem. I buy exclusively Chinese, Romanian, and Bulgarian due to trunnion issues, all of whom chrome line their barrels. Nitrided barrels are great, and are more accurate than chrome lined ones. I only use nitrided barrels on my Mak 90 and change the barrel after about 20-25k rounds.
The lifespan of a chrome lined barrel is more like 50-60k
