The PREMIER of the State of New South Wales is a Woman - Gladys Berejiklian. She is of the Labor Party ( the equivalent of our Democrats here in the USA ).
I was talking about the PRIME MINISTER of Australia in my post ( the equivalent of our President ). He is supposed to be conservative ( emphasis on supposed ).

When it comes to the Anglosphere, “conservative” is basically a relative term. Non-American conservatives are often, if not usually, not as right of center as we are.
