You are so right. I got caught up reading a Twitter thread yesterday that was the perfect example. It started with a mom calling herself "broken hearted" because she just had to sever ties with her son because he wouldn't get vaccinated and voted for Trump. Mind he'd already had Covid and had a positive antibody test, but he was putting her in "danger". I was tempted to blast her, but what's the use. There was just tons of people who were doing the same, cutting off parents, children and friends, sympathizing with the nut.
