As of Aug. 14, there have been 12,641 breakthrough cases, an increase of 2,672 since the last report on Aug. 7. In Massachusetts, 4,415,396 people were vaccinated as of Aug. 14, so 0.29% are reporting a breakthrough case of COVID-19. The rate has increased only slightly from 0.23% reported on Aug. 7.
The state also reported more deaths and hospitalizations among those vaccinated, though at an even lower rate. There have been 496 total hospitalizations and 124 deaths, an increase of 51 and 18 respectively since Aug. 7. Out of those inoculated, 0.01% were hospitalized and 0.003% died.
According to the state, 3.9% of breakthrough cases have resulted in hospitalization and 0.1% in death.
A small math error at the end. 1% death, not 0.1% Anyone with haolf a brain could see that's wrong but not the author or editor apparently. 1% mortality is the same as being unvaccinated. Math: 124 deaths out of 126 hundred (12,641) breakthrough cases. 1 in 100 is 1%. One percent is the same as the unvaccinated mortality rate.
The same rate of death. So what were you saying again?
Please let me know if you have any luck with that or figure out something else.
Yes really. I do.
The SPLTTYPE mentions some of the pharmas, too. I suspect my machine won’t be able to handle this, so will have to take some shortcuts.
Thanks, again.
German Measles is Rubella. Measles, also known as Rubeola while also an RNA virus, is caused by a distinctly different virus from Rubella.
Rubella is not a “variant” of Measles nor is Roseola (often confused with Measles and or Rubella but caused by a Herpes virus for which there is no vaccine), although many of the symptoms are similar. Because Measles and Rubella are caused by entirely different viruses, that is why there are two different vaccines for them, since the early 70’s combined in the MMR (Measles/Mumps/Rubella) vax.
Depending on when you were vaccinated for Measles (that vax first came out in 1963), you may not have been vaccinated for Rubella.
Rubella is less contagious than Measles and is a typically a milder disease but can cause serious birth defects or miscarriage when contracted by a pregnant mother. Measles on the other hand is highly contagious and can be more serious, prone to more serious complications in both children and adults.
If you were vaccinated for Measles but not also for Rubella, then you didn’t contract a “variant” of Measles, you contracted Rubella.
We have, or had herd immunity against measles and for a time Measles was considered irradicated in the US, until a number of people in the US and in some European counties stopped getting their children vaccinated for it because of fears that the MMR vaccine caused autism, which it doesn’t and among groups of certain religious sects who do not vaccinate.
I agree that border controls are important. But several of the most recent outbreaks in the US were traced to unvaccinated US citizens, mostly Orthodox Jews who traveled to Israel and Amish missionaries who travelled to the Philippines where Measles is endemic and brought it back with them.
While the outbreaks were mostly confined to their close-knit communities, there were cases that showed up outside of those communities through casual contact among the unvaccinated who are unvaccinated for reasons other than religion.
No, I’m just cautious. There are too many testimonials out there about reactions to these vaccines. If you have ever gone through cancer treatment with the chemo and the radiation treatments, the drugs you have to take and how your body reacted to all that and landed you in the hospital with very very low white blood count, you would be just as cautious. I just don’t believe the hype on either side. I am me. I think for myself and will do what I feel is best for me.
“Lastly, and most importantly, we all know scores of friends, family and co-workers who took the jab and wound up dead or badly injured soon thereafter.”
Scores? I don’t know anyone. Zero. Ziltch.
In a few months, proof of vaccine will be required to shop anywhere, including grocery stores. Probably will even be extended to online shopping, but that will be hard to put in place.

Jab THAT!
Fourty+ years of CHOICE may end us ALL!
So true in MY rural area!
Option C....
We ALL do? I know a shit ton of people who took the vaccine and none of them had a single side effect other than sore arm and some with slight fever for 6-12 hours after taking it. Beyond that, nothing
Compared to I know of four people who died of the China virus. Two were husbands of co-workers (a Chicago police officer and a Chicago fireman), one was the mother of a friend and another was the father of a friend.
Bullshit articles like this aren't helpful to the anti-vaxxers here on FR. While I respect your right and your choice to not take the vaccine, I do not respect the amount of bullshit that the anti-vaxxer side posts.
Nancy Pelosi with no mask on this weekend with her “elite” friends here in California where you are suppose to wear one and have a vaccine passport. Also no “social distancing”. Just another example of the scamdemic. I bet none were vaccinated either.
All the servants fully masked !!!

They may try in Vegas, but in rural Nevada we are already flatly ignoring their mandates. You tell us we cant shop for food, and stores will get dicey quickly
Thanks for the education..
