Back in the day when guys in drag was entertainment and not a lifestyle I knew a guy whose friends were going to a Halloween party dressed as The Supremes so this guy decided to go as Diana Ross with a Sequin dress, wig, and stuffed bra.
He stopped to get some gas on the way there and a guy at another pump started cat calling him, “Oh, baby, you look fine! What’s your name?”
He turns around and in his near baritone voice says, “My name is James”. Said the other guy was speechless.
