Unfortunately, to test for antibodies you either need to do so shortly after you get sick and recover, or wait to be exposed again. Antibodies wane, T and B cell memory do not.

Correct. I would think that there may still be a way of testing individuals for these antigen-specific cells.

That is the real solution -- anything else is just a mental band-aid, particularly in light of how these so-called 'vaccines' have proven so far to be horribly ineffective.
