U.S. senators — Roger Wicker, Angus King, and John Hickenlooper — announced yesterday (19 Aug) they had tested positive for Covid. All had been vaccinated, none are hospitalized.

One million administered. It seems like many people who thought they could procrastinate and the bug would disappear while they hid behind the skirts of other people have come to realize that’s no longer an option.
I had a Pfizer vax today, not even a sore arm. My daughter got one yesterday and had horrible side effects, so bad she had to take a day off work. I sent her links to VAERS so she can report it and told her to tell whoever gave her the shot that they were obliged to report to VAERS.
She’s flying to Hawaii in September and airlines require vax proof. Otherwise she’d never get a bleeping shot.

That is something that I don’t see officially reported, and I expect there is strong political pressure not to. Eventually, there will be some accounting.
Some folks throw around lots of soft numbers, that would not stand up to rigorous analysis, but I think that the side effects and fatalities from these vaccines, are roughly in the ball park with vaccines generally.
I know some will strongly disagree, but having gone down the road with them many times researching alleged problems (one after another), I’ve come to this position.
There are processes in place to monitor for problems with vaccines - here, and in other Countries around the World. Those organizations have been in place, refining procedures for decades.
They have identified serious side effects, that only occur once in a million times - the systems are that effective. I believe that if there were truly common fatal effects, many Nations would have long ago identified them, and warned the public.
With what I’m seeing now I still recommend the vaccine but not seeing a definite reason for kids yet.
