The guy is Johnny Bravo

The uniform was tailored, the pols just needed a man with virtually no honor to look good in it and do as they were told.

This medal is for sandbox sharing,

this one is for bottom surgery advocacy,

this is my no merit badge,

this one is for lowering standards

this is for abandoning American citizens in a hostile foreign country (I’s red, I like red)

This is for facilitating the Chinese takeover of Taiwan

This one is for giving the Russian’s free reign to wreak havoc in Ukrain.

And my new one! SURRENDER stars! I’m a four star surrender General.

Look into my puffy eyes and listened to my strongly worded lies.

I look good in this suit, don’t I.

To put it bluntly, that was probably a good start. Too bad Republican presidents haven’t taken the same view.

That’s just it...

Trump SURROUNDED himself with losers!

He picked 3 LOSERS to the supreme court, each of whom betrayed the constitution since taking office.

Harsh but realistic assessment. The swamp was much deeper than he thought.

The unfortunate fact is, after The Obama Purge of God Fearing, Constitution Living American Patriots in the Senior Officer Ranks, President Trump inherited a military/Pentagon with precious little to select from. A fact he was totally unaware of until they all turned on him once placed in his cabinet. Gen. Flynn and Adm Rogers were the only exceptions to this and they were viciously attacked/smeared because of their loyalty to President Trump.

Let’s face it, Trump was the best President we ever had, but he should have nothing to do with future personnel picks. He gas picked way to many losers and now Milly can join the list.

“Let’s face it, Trump was the best President we ever had,”

Agreed.

I was listening to Savage in 2015 and he introduced me to the Deep State by name. First time I heard that term.

He said they will never let Trump be successful. He was right in intent. The deep state did everything to subvert Trumps presidency including putting spooks in every room.

Romney was a deep state agent. Trump turned him down, but there just wasn’t anyone you could trust anywhere.

Everybody in that orbit had cut leak deals public and secure.

Trump was in shark infested waters.

I hope he can make it back in 2024 and use his lessons learned. e.g. fire everyone and start over. I can dream.

Trump hired plenty of losers. That is for sure. He even hired a bunch for the USSC.

Trump's track record for picking people was awful. As others have said, he needs to go to finishing school and learn the value of civility and humility.

When he went and took that walk, and then he apologized because the radical left started getting on him, I realized I had a loser.

Trump has given all of us a good lesson in what loser's look like. They look like RINOs.

there aren't any good generals

That's not true. But the problem is that our best generals right now are colonels who aren't on anyone's list to be generals.

I agree, “not much to choose from,” happens too often.
Look what we got from the Damnocrats in 2020!
Biden was only the least obnoxious “crat” in the primaries!
The best of the worst! Commies, a gayboy, radical reds, Texas loser? And out comes Joseph R Biden, a ne’er do well Senator who was nothing but a blustering rooster in the farm yard that had no chance with the hens, except Jill, his former baby sitter! Let that sink in AMERICA!

I do know the DoD, CDC, FDA and other federal departments forked in total something like $192M for the gain-of-function coronavirus research over close to 20 years (Richard Fleming has compiled the grant info) and that Moderna was first and long funded by the DoD.

Pretty impressive.

“And also China Mitch made it clear that anyone not on his approved list would be DOA in the Senate.”

Trump could have nominated someone Mitch didn’t like. Assuming the candidate was squeaky clean, if Mitch balked Trump could have gone the to the people and asked them to pressure their GOP representatives. If the candidate was fully qualified, and squeaky clean, on what grounds would Mitch refuse the nomination, particularly if the GOP base was screaming at their Representatives and Senators. We’ll never know if it would have worked, because Trump never tried.

As a side note, do you believe Anthony Scaramucci was on Mitch’s OK list? How about Omarosa Manigault Newman? Jared Kushner?

I do remember Trump praising to the high heavens the following appointments HE made - James Mattis, Rex Tillerson, John Kelly, Jeff Sessions, Reince Priebus, Bill Barr, Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Barrett among others. If Mitch “forced” Trump to make his lousy appointments, why was he so effusive in praising them at the time of nomination?

I recall Trump on the campaign trail saying he had a huge rolodex full of incredibly intelligent businessmen who wanted to come to Washington to help him drain the swamp. He mentioned Carl Icahn several times as one of those people. Was this just another “Mexico will pay for the wall” campaign exaggeration? At the end of the day, Trump appointed Washington insiders, with the exception of Ben Carson and Rex Tillerson.

One other comment. Trump appointed Chris Christie to be his transition team director during the campaign. The transition director’s job was to find and vet potential candidates for key jobs so on the day after election Trump would be ready to start filling key positions. The day after the election, Christie had nothing to show and Trump fired him in the first few weeks of the transition. Mitch couldn’t have force Trump to hire Christie since no Senate approval was required for the job. Trump could have put anyone in the position. Perhaps the most critical appointment of a presidential candidate along with his campaign manager.

Yes. Read Executive order 13887 and the subsequent reports. It followed a pandemic exercise which ran from January to August 2019. Included 22 states, 19 federal agencies, over 80 hospitals and over 70 local health departments. It proceeded John Hopkins global exercise that occured in October of 2019.

See post 59. I did not know that about Moderna. Pfizer has in the past, and currently works with DARPA on vaccines. I believe the reports on the Executive Order show vaccines to be made mRNA, Nanotech and other forms of Biotech. It also wants vaccinations at CDC levels. At the time of the Executive order vaccines were ‘only’ at 45 percent. This new technology has been a big deal in the scientific community for some time, they just needed a green light to use it.
