A former ice cream shop owner in New York accused of calling the police and falsely claiming to be threatened by peaceful Black Lives Matter protesters has been ordered to pay $500 to each of the protesters for violating their civil rights.

If they support shutdowns, mask mandates, looting, thug riots; forget ‘em. Do as TimPool suggested: defund and open carry. Thugs will go after those who don’t defend themselves — which will be a good thing, overall.
I dove into the details: The shop owner is a nutjob who dug his own hole.
I don’t suggest a kneejerk defense in this case.
He could have presented a case in court, but his lawyers probably told him that it would be cheaper to pay. Is there a legal defense fund for little guys like that? If there is, I’m sure that contributions would be welcome.
