I don't expect President Biden to be impeached over this but at the very least the GOP can fight for it and force Democrats to defend that it's perfectly OK to defy Supreme Court rulings.

This might come in handy for Republican governors down the road.

Instead, the GOP has allowed it to be dumped down the memory hole.
