Nah. It will take $7.00/gal. in California before the liberal knuckleheads really feel the pain. At that point, the wealthy will feel it when they fill up their cars, heat and cool their homes/pools. The middle class will feel it when they must choose between driving to work and school during the week or going to mall on the weekend. And the poor will feel it when their food stamps can only afford milk, eggs, cheese, bread and cereal as originally intended. Which is why the government is bumping up food stamp benefits by 25% next month, but that won’t be enough to allow them to back to buying steak and lobster.
They didn’t mind the lockdowns as long as they were getting paid well to sit at home, but now things are changing.
