There are so many thousands of people, not all westerners, but including various international contractors, business people, and local civilians who acted as interpreters or functionaries (who may end up standing accused of treason by the Taliban). What a mess they made by not planing an orderly exit and safe transport for everyone who lent support to our efforts over the last 20 years. The pulled the troops out before securing the civilians leaving them all exposed.

God help those people, and any Christian in Afghanistan.
I don’t think the Taliban are like the Ayatollah. They seem to have a “take no prisoners attitude.”
Taiwan must be defecating themselves at seeing this chaos.
