Full article title: Overloaded but airborne: Incredible photo shows 640 Afghans on a US C-17 cargo jet - designed to carry 150 - after they ran on before soldiers could close ramp and pilot decided to take off from Kabul and save them all
The first photos have emerged of crammed US cargo jets with hundreds of terrified Afghan refugees on board after they ran onto the aircraft before military personnel could close ramps on them on Sunday in their escape of the Taliban.
The US has so far flown at least two C-17 cargo jets out of Kabul and more flights are expected throughout Monday night and later this week despite chaos on the ground on Monday which involved eight people dying and flights being halted.

Amazing photo.
Thanks.
This C-130 previously held the record @ 452:

An interesting side note, this guy happened to be one of the lucky 452:

I would take a thousand Vietnamese before one Afghani. One group is a delight to interact with while the islamofascist Afghan will rape your dog and try to behead you..
Perhaps we just need to let China play with the snakes and we bomb the Afghans to dust whenever and wherever they get unruly.
Still wondering how many loadmasters they had on the crew; standard C-17 crew is three; pilot, co-pilot and loadmaster. Hoping they had 4-5 for that mission, knowing the “load” would strictly be passengers. Can only imagine the loadmasters looking out over that wave of humanity and saying “oh, s—t.”
Great job by the crew; early favorites for this year’s MacKay Trophy.
My guess was Spirit; seats are extra....
Thank you for posting that. What great stories! (I’m not sure which is greater!) They help scoop away the big pile of poop several posters on this thread have deposited. Now if they’ll just go wade in it, it will improve their smell.
This (Biden) Administration though — there’s NOTHING that can remove the smell of what they’ve stepped in this time. Damn them all to Hell.
The Taliban let them leave because they know they support them, otherwise they would have killed them.
Too true.
Then go into a steep climb and shake the plane a bit.
You’re welcome. Go to the interim stop and make sure you verify their biometrics with their years of service to the US.
I’m sure we can count on you to be useful.
“Do you know how they vetted the 640 people on the plane?”
Do you think they risked their lives from being shot by the Taliban because they have no reason and no history of working for the US?
Well, go on and meet them in Qatar and India. Make yourself useful.
“You are as naive as the Bidenistas and the military
They should have been thrown off .
Now these Taliban plants are coming to a neighborhood near you and me.”
Too many bad assumptions. So many bad assumptions. There’s records on the tens of thousands of Afghans who put in service, risked their lives and aided the US in Afghanistan.
Is there anyone here who is literate enough to understand that stops in Asia and Europe are capable of examining these records?
Wow, it’s like literacy and logic are gone.
“A safe bet that many did work for the US.
Long ago and far away I worked with an ARVN whose parents were murdered by the NVA.”
Thank you FRiend. I stand with you and others who insist that we stand up to aid those who took our word to protect them should the worst occur.
Demented Biden made sure it came all in one fell swoop.
“The Taliban let them leave because they know they support them, otherwise they would have killed them.”
I’m sure you have evidence and data to support the allegation Gator.
Show us.
Would you trust them to move next door to you?
An interim stop where their credentials could be checked out would be in the best interest of the citizens of United States of America. Since our so-called leadership is not interested in that, they will probably just bring all these unvetted people directly to the USA followed by 10 family members as we “build back better”.
“Would you trust them to move next door to you?”
Sure. I would be a good neighbor to any Afghan who helped served and protected American soldiers.
Hopefully, we don’t abandon the thousands of our Afghan Allies who put their lives and those of their families to help Americans there.

The checks can be performed with the biometric data collected on all Afghans who served with the US armed forces. That data is easily available whether it’s needed in Qatar, India or Germany.
Many are bringing this up who know about the data available. It’s there to be used.
You’re making a big assumption that The Biden Administration is interested in vetting them, as opposed to just letting in as many future Rat voters as possible.
