Biden has always been a stupid but arrogant ‘man’ (and I use the term loosely). He lies with abandon about his ‘accomplishments’, and about anyone or anything if it can possibly make him look better and pump up his ego. I guarantee that when he starts getting criticized he will lash out viciously in response - as do most narcissists.
Unfortunately, he is emblematic of the political class. We need a thorough house cleaning.
