I first thought the RATS wanted her as VP so they could claim the first female President. But considering how unpopular she is, Harris would have a very hard time being elected for President. She would have no coattails and would probably be a lame duck for her entire term. With all that in mind, I have begun to think she was brought in precisely for her unpopularity. Not sure I buy it, but I can understand the logic. Actually, perhaps, they wanted her there to protect Biden - she could be the scapegoat on everything, kept unpopular to keep people from wanting Biden to step aside because of his health and keep the country club in charge. Making her the face of the border mess they created could be evidence of that.
