Hence the reason why I think there is a quiet movement to get Biden out of office right now.

Biden’s plan for everything...

Step 1. Do the opposite of what Trump did.
Step 2. When everything falls apart, blame Trump.

Exactly.

REALITY CHECK-——NY Post Miranda Devine asked President Trump Sunday about the plan his administration had to get out of Afghanistan —which ultimately was obstructed by the same US generals who gave Biden a green light.

“We were going to not let people get slaughtered,” Trump said flatly. “I wanted to get out. But you have to get out safely and you have to get out with respect . . .

“We had all sorts of conditions . . . All civilians were going to come out before the military. Everyone should have been out before they took our military out . . .

“I was going to close this ridiculous embassy they spent a billion dollars on and move everybody out . . .

“I was going to blow up every military base [before we left]. I was going to take out every single piece of equipment. I said I don’t want anything left [apart from] leave each soldier a gun . . .

“Plus, I had a relationship with the Taliban where they knew they weren’t allowed to do this. They understood they were going to get hit very hard . . . What I had was conversations with the [Taliban] leadership where I said if you do anything we were going to hit them like they haven’t been hit before.”

Trump’s Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who began negotiating with the Taliban in February 2020 to lay down conditions for a US withdrawal, has corroborated Trump’s version of events.

Pompeo was in the room when Trump warned the Taliban’s senior negotiator, Mullah Baradar, that if a single American was hurt or threatened the entire wrath of American power would rain down on them.

“We never trusted the Taliban,” he told Fox News Sunday. “We made abundantly clear . . . we weren’t going to allow them to just walk away from any deal that they had struck. We were going to go crush them, we were going to impose real costs on them. We weren’t going to let them take these provincial capitals. They understood that American power was going to come to their village, to their community, to their friends and family.”

You can bet the Taliban believed Trump would make good on his threat. (h/t Miranda Devine NY Post)

I blame Bush II.Seriously.

After we uprooted Al-Qaeda in 2003, that should have been it. When Bush decided to make them into little Americans because they love freedom, anyone with sense knew what was coming. In my case I was wrong about how long it took.

And we never went back to "normal" after 9-11. All the repressive emergency measures are still in place. The only normal we had since then (up to 2020) is a new generation grew up not knowing anything else.

The blame for the current disaster goes back through seven presidents, from Reagan enabling what became the Taliban, to give the Soviet Union a bloody nose, through Biden deluding himself that the Afghan National Army would actually fight the Taliban. Despite what transpired in the the past, or who made mistakes in light of 20/20 hindsight, the actions the administration have taken made a bad situation infinitely worse and China Joe owns the execution of the withdrawal.

But OF COURSE the media can blame him, and they will, regardless.

During “Butt Buddy Barry”’s regime, anytime the economy wasn’t doing well? Blame Bush, and the media echoed him 100%.
Crime rates up? Blame Bush.
Unrest in a foreign country? Blame Bush.
Gas prices up? Blame Bush.
Rinse, repeat.

I would say it is likely that Obama and Jarrett are running the show.

“Former President Donald Trump blasted his succesor’s strategy for exiting Afghanistan, saying it was driven by “weakness, incompetence, and total strategic incoherence.”

“Joe Biden gets it wrong every time on foreign policy, and many other issues,” Trump said in a statement issued by his office. “Everyone knew he couldn’t handle the pressure. Even Obama’s Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates, said as much.”

Trump said his administration left behind a plan to keep pressure on the Taliban while U.S. troops withdrew, and that it was disregarded. He suggested the sudden surge by the Taliban across Afghanistan was due to that failure.
Biden “ran out of Afghanistan instead of following the plan our Administration left for him— a plan that protected our people and our property, and ensured the Taliban would never dream of taking our Embassy or providing a base for new attacks against America,” he said.

Former Pentagon chief of staff Kash Patel told Just the News on Friday that Trump’s plan included continuing U.S.air power to keep the Taliban in check and try to force them into negotiations.”

It only takes a small footprint in the Tarbaby to end up in a real mess.
