Suggest they also consider commercial aircraft converted into troop carriers which can either conduct airborne drops or land as a genuine commercial flight full of commandos. Taiwan won’t know until the troops are out the door or already on the runway.
People will surprise what a combatant that wants to win can jury rig.
They also have a lot of cargo ships owned by patriotic Chinese nationals too.
MMM, commercial ship docks at Taiwan port and off loadS their military cargo,,,, seems we had that discussion?
I just think that when time’s up for the Republic of China (aka Taiwan), their military and elite will fold faster than the Afghans. Being an elite under the CCP is quite different than being the Taliban’s b!tch. For one thing you have full access to the world’s biggest trade routes. For another thing, they’ve gotta be getting wary of US incompetence and corruption.
Why invade when a blockade would be more effective and cheaper?
I wonder if losing a war against a stone age culture, cutting and running with our tail between our legs has emboldened China? Any chance that's possible? /s
