Hold on there, Uncle Miltie.

There is a huge difference.

They are both Chinook's but the ones used in Kabul are newer, improved models.

Maybe the armed forces needs to be a 4th branch of the government. Leaders at the top chosen by the other 3 branches with VERY specific metrics in their records adhering to patriotism AND adherence to the truths of the Constitution.

I was gonna say that the Kabul Chinook has 4 wheels while the Saigon model has 3. It’s obviously nothing like Saigon.

Nope, those are two TOTALLY different aircraft.
CH-46 in Saigon, operated by Marines. Boeing Vertol 106.
CH-47 in Kabul, operated by Army (and others)Boeing Vertol 107.
