’A lot of anger’ “The soldiers who have talked to me, I’ve experienced a lot of anger,” said Joseph Owens, a lawyer who served in the US Army’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps. Owens says his firm, based in Columbia, Maryland, has received about a dozen calls since Austin’s announcement.
For Owens, the question revolves around whether it is a lawful order to compel service members to receive the Covid-19 vaccine. And to answer that question, he says he will look into the decision-making process behind mandating that vaccine and the legal considerations that went into the decision. Any procedural missteps in testing, authorizing, or administering the vaccine, he says, could make it an unlawful order.
“I think there’s a very good argument that the answer is no, it’s not a lawful order,” Owens said, citing the troubled implementation of the anthrax vaccine in the late 1990s.
The military mandated the anthrax vaccine beginning in 1998, but it quickly ran into legal challenges and sowed distrust of unknown vaccines among service members, some of whom faced dismissal for their refusal to take the vaccine. That skepticism has crept up again with some troops for the Covid-19 vaccine.
“They want more data before they put a chemical in their body,” Owens said.
But a similar challenge to the Covid-19 vaccines could be far more difficult to make, especially if the Defense Department waits for FDA approval before making the shots mandatory.

The military taught me how to think for myself. I’m not telling anyone to take the shot or not. But I’m not doing it. The survival rate for my age is 99.6 %. I’ve heard way to many vax disaster issues.

My grandson will be sworn in tomorrow. I know they’ll push this on him and he’s just a kid really. This will stress his Momma out and she’s already a bundle of nerves. He’s never been away from home for more than a weekend before.

I know two people personally with neurological issues after taking the jab...one Pfizer x 2 and one Moderna x 2 jabs.
Then three others who conveyed their family members suffered adverse reactions. Co-workers brother in law, 47 healthy stroked out and died. Our neighbors grandmother found sitting in her recliner deader than a door nail about a week after the jab and a vendor I work with told me his adult daughter is now having to see a neurologist.
This is way too close to home for me. Now my employer is mandating the vaccine by Oct 4th. If you do not comply, weekly testing to prove negative testing. Turning the screws.
Hearing now, insurance companies are contemplating raising premiums for those refusing vax or employers deducting $50 a month surcharge from paychecks.

can you describe the delay in onset of neuro. symptoms post-injection, and the type and severity of symptoms?
at first many (like you) will have a testing alternative, but obv. the endgame is close that loophole before any really bad widespread issues become impossible to hide (thinking ADE or progression microclot problems from repeated injections)
