Absolutely no one of consequence since Bush had the strength of character to stand up and say that the idea of "nation building" in Afghanistan was and would always remain an immense stupidity.

I SO agree with you. Absolutely agree with you.
I do not understand with the knowledge we have now of what is actually occurring in the big cities and even rural areas why we don’t have an active plan to secede NOW.
I would do almost anything to assist that. The one group I did join, COS, didn’t even have thoughts of a plan when I joined and stayed until I just couldn’t stand the “sweetness”.
