Totally share your dismay with the CDC

Started my career in medical research at a hospital that was Level 1 regional resource center.

Most of the seriously bad cases from several surrounding states came our way.

The CDC was calvary called in via .gov biz jets when when we got a rare or especially serious case of infectious disease case over our heads.

Really respected and admired those guys. Heck, I wanted to BE one of those guys.

Don't recognize the CDC I am seeing here and now
