I doubt if the judge called it Trumps’ immigration policy, but I’m sure glad the Washington Times did.
I know nothing about the process, but I’m willing to bet the judge didn’t arrive at this decision without a petition. So who made this happen?

Is this some Babylon Bee article? A US federal judge making a common sense ruling? Ok I’m going to wake up any moment and realise it was just a happy dream...
To: Gene Eric
I was wondering the exact same thing — who filed a case with the court? It is so refreshing to hear a judge make a sensible ruling for a change.

Makes me wonder if Biden’s team asked this judge to overturn it so they could have an out to stop the uncontrollable mess they started. Even what few voters they have are fed up with their stupid policies.

“In one of its first of dozens of steps that harm Texas and the nation as a whole, the Biden administration directed DHS to violate federal immigration law and breach an agreement to consult and cooperate with Texas on that law. Our state defends the largest section of the southern border in the nation. Failure to properly enforce the law will directly and immediately endanger our citizens and law enforcement personnel,” said Attorney General Paxton. “DHS itself has previously acknowledged that such a freeze on deportations will cause concrete injuries to Texas. I am confident that these unlawful and perilous actions cannot stand. The rule of law and security of our citizens must prevail.”

That way they could play the victim and get people’s sympathy instead of being exposed as the frauds and hypocrites they are and for making really bad decisions they have to backpedal on.
It’s all about optics.
