True story: I have a good friend in the state of Florida (where I’ll be by the end of the year) who once worked security at an airport — I think it was Dulles. Anyway, he and his partner asked Sam Donaldson — yes, THAT one — to open his suitcase. Sam asked them, “Do you know how I am?” My friend’s partner replied, “Yeah, you’re that obnoxious guy on the Tee Vee!”
“Partner” as in co-worker, since I obviously have to explain which vernacular is being used nowadays.
