The hospitals do NOT need to be overflowing. EARLY (first 1-5, some say 1-7 days) outpatient treatment almost always keeps people OUT of the hospital. The issue is that PCPs get out their CDC/NIH books & flip to the pages for COVID that say there “is no treatment” until you get so bad you have to go to the hospital.
Numerous doctors who WILL treat patients, keep the vast majority out of the hospital and almost unanimously agree that about 80-85% of those who have died could have been saved with EARLY OUTPATIENT treatment.

IMO, those docs who refuse to treat patients with COVID early & on an outpatient basis have blood on their hands ... hope they can sleep at night (evidently, most of them can).

Maybe, but think about the effect it could potentially have on our military.
They’re about to mandate it. Say 1/3 say no. Then what? Those folks are gone. Either chaptered out for medical reasons or discharged, in some way.
If that happens, it’s going to effect the combat arms the most. What demographic makes up the combat arms?

At least two hospitals in her district are full, one is actually at four over capacity because they are keeping people in ER rooms. Half the patients in the smaller of the two are COVID patients. About a quarter of the patients in the larger one have COVID.
