The Betrayal of Afghanistan

American imperialism has said and done many obscene things over the decades. And right up there is the response of the Biden administration to the Taliban’s surge following the staggered withdrawal of American and NATO forces. ‘They’ve got to fight for themselves’, President Biden said of the Afghan people. They must ‘fight for their nation’, he continued. There was a chastising tone to his comments. ‘Get your act together’, he was essentially saying. ‘Do something.’ It is difficult to fathom the levels of arrogance it must require to leave a country ruined, and effectively to pave the way for the barbarism now sweeping that nation, and then to turn around and tut-tut at the beleaguered people you left behind for not being prepared for the onslaught.

Make no mistake: at every step of the way American and NATO forces blindly and ruinously paved the way for what is currently happening in Afghanistan.

Well according to our IC and Military, the biggest threat to America is White Supremacy. They are looking high and low, under every pebble, into every nook and cranny for White Supremacists. There is no time to win wars!

Betrayal? We suffered a huge loss of blood and treasure over a 20 year period. We owe Afghanistan nothing.

I think we should’ve gone into either Iraq or Afghan, but not both. We needed a big show of force after 9/11. Iraq seems to be the bigger long term win. Sadly Afghanistan is going right back to pre-9/11.

And bin laden was hiding in pakistan, another one I’d have preferred over aghanistan.

Iraq is more civilized than Afghanistan. Obviously, Iraq is a troubled place but it’s easier to “nation-build” because at least it is an actual country. Afghanistan is stuck in the Stone Age with a bunch of warlords fighting over the territory. That said, USA really did not have to do that much to keep a robust presence in Kabul and prop up the Afghan Armed Forces with air superiority. All we needed was the will to maintain our footprint in the country.

On 9/12/2001, Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, Tehran, and Islamabad should have been radioactive glass.

“On 9/12/2001, Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, Tehran, and Islamabad should have been radioactive glass.”

Pretty much.

We did nothing in 20 years.

“They need to fight for themselves” is what Trump should have said.

You may be right: some facts. Poppies for Heroin is the major cash crop. Homosexual rape of young boys is the standard method of sex. Fathers of young boys swap their sons with other fathers of young boys to have sex. Young boys are taught to dance in a seductive manner such as to be appealing to the adult men who will have sex with the young boys. And did I mention that their main cash crop is poppies for heroin? Still though, there are a few decent people over there. Sad for them. Lot. Pillar of salt and such. With the Chinese moving in, there will be heroin as a tool to destroy Western Civ. There may even be genetic engineering to modify heroin to give it additional properties. And then there will be partnering with China and Iran in Poppy Land to advance the cause of the Anti-Christ. The new hole-in-the-wall-gang.

A total of 2,312 US military personnel in Afghanistan have died and 20,066 have been wounded since 2001. The number of civilian deaths in Afghanistan range from 35,000 to 40,000, while the cost of military operations is put at $824bn.

How many lives lost in Vietnam in 15 years? This is a total betrayal to our military men and women who sacrificed so much.. You just can’t walk away and leave the Afghan people to the wolves.. These people need protection. Already the Taliban are kidnapping the young girls to be sacrificed as sex slaves!!

Pakistan has nuclear weapons and a population of 220 million. Good luck with that.

And it would be child’s play to decapitate Pakistan nukes anytime we pleased. They have nothing like a missile system that can get here, nor a launch on demand fast system. We aren’t talking Paki norad.
They have nukes they can deliver to India as part of a plan and that’s about it.
