You don’t think that 8 million children a year disappearing is not widespread? I provided a link in my last post. First one that came up during a search.
Globally, yes. In the US, to our children, no.
The link you posted is to a commercial site that sells GPS tracking services, and they don’t say where they get their numbers.
If 800,000 children are reported missing each year, that doesn’t mean they stay missing. They stay out late, run away, stay with friends, and most of them come home.
There are around 3,900,000 children born every year in this country. If 800,000 stayed missing every year, that’s more than 1 in 5, and everyone would know and be terrified.
