Much of the NSA’s most prized intelligence data may be moving to the cloud. (amazon, bezos)

He would completely destroy his cloud business if he did that (by selling a customer's data that contracted to keep secure), and then get taken to the cleaners in lawsuits to boot. (And prison would be in the cards as well.)
I don't think he's that dumb.

why not send it directly to china?because in between you want to pay your tech masters in amazon, google, microsoft etc.
and in turn those companies give some money back to "big guy" politicians.
also these companies get to keep/copy data for themselves.

If Hitler had the same Social Media Propaganda tools at his disposal as the DEMONCRATS have today, we would all be speaking German.

Midnight Run is hysterically funny and well put together too.
“Is this moron #1? Put moron #2 on the phone!”.
Director Martin Brest did a lot of good films. Then he did Gigli and I don’t think he’s worked since.

I’m not surprised. This was in the planning up to a decade ago in the Army: to move all Army electronic files from local servers on post into the cloud and eventually have the classified files moved there as well. The reasoning was to have files available to Army units worldwide and thus ‘share’ data. We first lost the unclassified server and then the classified server in our facility as an initial move of the data to a centralized MDW server farm. I think the planning was to be “in the cloud” by now.
