Federal employees could face criminal penalties, as well as disciplinary action from their own agencies, if they lie about their vaccination status, according to admonitions on a new standardized vaccine attestation form and an updated list of frequently asked questions the Biden administration issued Friday.
Contractors working in federal facilities, who will also be asked for their vaccination status, could also be in criminal jeopardy. The FAQs warn it’s a federal crime for “anyone” to provide false information on the form, and doing so “could also affect continuing eligibility for access to classified information or for employment in a national security position under applicable adjudicative guidelines.”
The federal statute in question carries a potential prison term of up to five years for anyone convicted of making false statements.
The new certification form gives workers four choices: Certify that they’re fully-vaccinated; that they’re partially vaccinated; that they’re unvaccinated; or that they decline to answer. Declining to answer won’t be interpreted as providing false information, the administration said.
But those who decline to answer will have to be treated as though they’re unvaccinated. Both categories of people will have to wear masks at all times while they’re in federal facilities, and will also need to undergo testing for COVID-19 once or twice a week.
Friday’s updated guidance did not provide a clear timeframe for when agencies should start using the new form, nor did it give a deadline for when employees must make the certifications.
In all cases, agencies are being told to designate an official that employees should return the form to. The administration noted that in most cases, agencies already have records systems in place that are approved to store employee health information.

There is ZERO data to support that those with the vaccine are any better at not catching covid than those without it....SO...The demand in a court needs to be that the vaccinated get tested once or twice a week too.
I hate the left and how they carve out permission for themselves in everything but destroy you for not conforming.
The problem is that the jabs will just have lots of different “rare” side effects that will make lots of folks sick in thousands of different ways and add to the costs of health insurance for everyone.
Many of these side effects will take months and even years to show themselves.
I would expect to see these vaccines have bizarre interactions with the large variety of drugs Americans already take.
Mass vaccinations (rather than one by one with doctor review of all the factors affecting each individual patient) is blatant medical malpractice.

I hadn't even considered the potential for bad drug interactions with other prescription meds. Maybe there was a reason that up until the media induced panic over Covid, the FDA would take upwards of 10 years to approve a new drug.

Makary believes people “Who choose not to get vaccinated are making a poor health decision at their own individual risk.” But he doesn’t believe the unvaccinated pose a public health threat to those who are already immune to the virus.
“Would we be so stern toward people making similar or worse health choices to smoke, drink alcohol or not wear a helmet when riding a bike? Over 85,000 Americans die annually from alcohol, yet we don’t have the same public health fervor or requirements to save those lives. Let’s encourage vaccination rather than activate the personal liberty culture wars that result in people becoming more entrenched in their opposition.”
Makary said that vaccinating everyone — including eventually every newborn — in order to control the pandemic is based on the false assumption that the risk of dying from COVID is equally distributed among the population — but it’s not, he said.
“We have always known that it’s very hard for the virus to hurt someone who is young and healthy!” Makary said. “And that’s still the case.”
Makary suggested taking a similar approach to what is used with the flu shot, which is often mandated for healthcare workers. Makary said while vaccine requirements for healthcare workers make sense, we would never extend those requirements outside of healthcare.
“We’d simply state to the public: Those who avoid the flu shot do so at their own risk,” Makary said.
Makary said there is no scientific support for requiring the vaccine in people who have natural immunity — that is, immunity from prior COVID infection. There is zero clinical outcome data to support arguing dogmatically that natural immune individuals “must get vaccinated.”

I can’t wait to see how they plan to execute this mandate. I work from home. Is somebody going to come to my house once a week and test me? Or will I have to drive to the airport on government time to get tested (three hours of wasted time)?

I’m glad the government goes to great lengths to see that everyone has an ID to vote as they do to see that everyone has documentation of being jabbed....oh wait.
