I wouldn't say completely ineffective as some people walled in by propaganda might say "hey."

Another factor is it tells the unmoving politicians "We know what you are doing" and even if they don't move, people want to tell them that.

Also some people just want it publically known that they don't condone this behavior.

Those are all reasons I took part in the March For Life and wrote politicians futilely against abortion. If someday the Lord says to me "You were part of the USA that did abortion" I can have some kind of defense.

I totally get your point and agree that the protest will not make politicians change their mind.

You are right on this point. We need more awareness. I guess massive protests do work against media propaganda.

My sentiment and intent was to express the futility of say “bringing a knife to a tank fight” when it comes to getting the government to reverse course.

The average person (regardless of where they are on the globe) simply does not realize what we are up against yet.

Normalcy bias is extremely powerful.

We need to break through it.
