Imagine 90% of the old folks get vaccinated and 20% of the young folks get vaccinated.

unvaccinated young dead 80000x.01%=8

vaccinated old dead 90000x.1%=90
vaccinated young dead 20000x.005%=1

The death toll would be 91 vaccinated, 58 unvaccinated.

The problem is we were told the Pfizer vaccine was 95% effective in preventing a Covid infection in the first place, which is not reflected in your calculations. Your vaccinated old should be (90,000 * .05) * .1% = 4.5 deaths.
