Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple held a press conference Saturday afternoon to discuss a criminal complaint his office received this week from an aide who worked side by side with Governor Cuomo.
The Albany County Sheriff Office is working with Albany County District Attorney David Soares’ office on the investigation. They are seeking additional information from the attorney general.
New York Attorney General Letitia James released a statement following Sheriff Apple’s press conference.
“We will cooperate fully with the Albany sheriff and turn over all evidence related to this complainant. Similarly, we will cooperate with all law enforcement agencies, as appropriate.”

“Depending on the facts and the circumstances we will sit down with the district attorney and make the decision to move forward with a criminal charge or not,” said Sheriff Apple.
A former Cuomo staffer and her attorney met at Albany County sheriff’s office for about an hour this week to file the formal report but is expected to meet with them soon for a lengthier interview.

Look, Cuomo will try to make this a “he said-she said” kind of thing. But the FACT is that he (and his minions) sought retribution (both professionally and personally) against his accusers. That is the definition of sexual harassment, and Cuomo can pontificate all he wants. He is done.

Whoever replaces Cuomo in New York is guaranteed to more gay, more femme, more communist, more "trans", more Godless, more of everything the Free Republic isn't.
By the way, Donald Trump made an off-color remark about groupies, and made a non-disclosure agreement (subsequently broken by Sleazy Daniels), and he is a sexual predator. I know that they will try to draw equivalencies...
This is worthy of action. The nursing home fatalities aren’t. Think about that for a while.
There are some much bigger things that Cuomo has done that he will get hit with if he doesn’t step down and resign. This poor mannered sexual bully thing is just to give him a lesser out. If he continues to defy his peers it will cause the heavy charges to go public. They were actually doing him a favor.
And if she did make a comment on Cuomo, it would provide a target-rich environment for responses. Now, if Billy Jeff and Tony Weiner and the former gov of NY all made a joint PSA supporting Andy Cuomo, that might make a headline.
Good point. Soon, we'll see her doing those "Medicare Supplemental Insurance" commercials along with Joe Namath and Jimmie J.J. Walker.
Como’s ;ight weight loverboyism is no big deal. Democrat pols and to a lesser extent Republican pols do it from time to time and have done it since there were politicians. The big deal and what merits Cuomo’s removal, trial, and maybe a suspended (by rope) sentence is his premeditated murder of many of New York’s old folks. The slaughter saved NY a lot of money for those who are in nursing homes with state support, money that an be used to pay back campaign supporters.
I am betting the hooha will at some point fade as the Left comes up with another Big Deal to bash Trump and De Santis et al. So long as Cuomo hangs tough he has a good chance of skating.
