We differ such debilitating waste because there’s so damned much corruption and graft in Washington. The larger the spending bills, the bigger are Congress’ cuts. $$$$$$$

And they know all they need do is print more funny- money or raise our tax burdens.

It’s just too damned easy for them

What’s with the “secret handshake?”

That's just Lindy showing Joe what he'd like to do for him.

yet while Trump was POTUS with both houses they couldn’t do squat other than throw him to the wolves and support the fake ass Mueller investigation.

We are going to find out what they passed bit by agonizing bit over the next few months, I think. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that a section of this new law enshrines Democrat vote cheating as the Law now. You can hide a lot of evil things in a 2702 page bill when you know no one will read it. They can put stuff in this Law now ex post facto, even.

You really think elections are the answer?

We’re looking at the results.

Oh, and we reelected Donald Trump, right? But for some reason he isn’t Prez.

Go ahead, do as you are told. Just keep voting.

Crapo’s up for reelection in 2022. I may just register as a Republican to see if we can primary the sumbitch.

They do. But I think it’s hard for people to understand.

Who is going to primary them? If you’re the most legit person in the world but you have no money, you’re not going to get it anywhere. The state GOP machine will make sure your swept aside.

If you do have the money, you have to contend with the state and national GOP machine since you’re taking on one of the chosen ones.

And, if you, by some chance can defeat all of that, all that means is that you’re just as corrupt as the person you’re trying to replace, if not more, otherwise you can’t be trusted to carry on the status quo.

South Carolina has had two chances to get rid of Graham. The first time, he had some challengers. Now he has none. I wonder why. But, also from SC and other states, we all get to hear something like.....Tim Scott is coming around. He’s a Conservative. He’s this. He’s that.....Nah. He’s just like all the rest.

18 voted for this. Only because they were willing to go public with their support of it, their constituencies be damned. These 18 are letting their constituents that they DO NOT GIVE ONE F*CK about any of them. I’m sure there were more on the Republican side that are all about this and will quietly take their money at a date to be determined later.

Only about 15% of the bill is actually for infrastructure. Of that, I’d bet that there are no safeguards to make sure any of the work gets done, so it’s about 100% of the bill goes to something other than infrastructure.

So, at the end of the day, the bill should be passed at what, 68-32. I bet the numbers will be even better than that.

Exactly what’s going to happen.

The professional politicians, long ago, figured out how to get rich off of government programs. From the city council up to the federal government. And this includes the bureaucrats that dole out the money to their friends.

It’s why they stay there so long.

The Democrats have it down to a science. Because, even if you’re not the politician and you’re just a loyal foot soldier on a school board or something, you’ll be taken care of.

Pure and simple.

So, the only way to change all of that is, in 2022 if an incumbent gets no challenger and they are one of these types(as most of them are), then don’t vote for them. Answer those phone calls when the pollster calls or walks up to you on the street and let them know that you will not be voting for the incumbent. You want someone else. Of course, the incumbents army will chime in that if you don’t vote for their guy/gal, the Democrats will win. Oh well. At least with the Democrats you know where you stand.

They aren’t peeing on your leg and telling you it’s raining. They aren’t stabbing you in the back and twisting it in(by voting for this monstrosity), they get in your face and let you know it.

With so many Republicans voting the wrong way, it is difficult to get enthused about supporting the party.

Problem with Crapo and Risch is that they are dug in so deep in the Idaho republican party machine.
I don’t see anyone beating either of them in a primary...plus they have the Mormon Mafia behind them.

Heck, we can’t even get rid of one of the dumbest critters in congress, Idaho’s Mike Simpson, who is trying to pass legislation to remove 4-dams from the Snake River, which will ruin southern Idaho agriculture.

Last time the moron Simpson ran, during the primary, there were signs all over southern Idaho saying, “Retire Simpson”. He won big!

It hasn’t actually passed yet. We were watching it live and there is a hang up so Schumer had to close for the day and take up debate on it again tomorrow. He didn’t hold the final vote for it today.

They advanced it with 67 Votes.

You’re correct, but it’s a formality. Lindsey Graham was out there bragging about passing it.

How do we start a campaign to end donations to RINO’s? I don’t go on most social media but there has to be something we voters can do to stop the little donors from throwing the dollars to these chumps.
