Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to attend the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota as more Americans attend large gatherings this year following last year's coronavirus lockdowns.
The rally kicked off Friday and will last over 10 days with 700,000 people expected to attend. The event was widely criticized as a "superspreading event" last year amid the pandemic, when about 460,000 people attended.
Some state officials have urged caution on the gathering, in light of the delta variant of the virus, but have said the rally can be done "safely" with "proper precautions."

The fact that the politico-media-healthbureaucracy cabal was totally wrong in their predictions that last year’s rally would be a massive “superspreader” event is totally ignored.
Doesn’t fit the narrative.
We just had to put down our 17 year old dachshund who was a Sturgis biker dog. He was born there, rescued once by a relative who was a fry cook biker chick and when she died we got him, at the age of five, intact. Great dog. I also have a great story about Sturgis. An acquaintance who was a born and raised Jewish NY liberal, decided to get in her VW and ride across country. She accidentally found herself in a campground in and during Sturgis. As she lay in her tent she heard a man coming down the row of tents asking, “are you Jewish?” She was sure she was going to be hauled off and killed. Finally the man got to her tent and she decided she had to tell them that, “yes, I’m Jewish.” He said, “Good, we need a tenth for a minion.” She learned a lot that weekend.
If the vaccine worked, why are vaccinated people so fearful? They don’t trust the fake vaccine either.But sure open the borders Democrats.
Meeting the President(s) was Rolling Thunder in DC not Sturgis. Sturgis is a one hell of a party and Rolling Thunder was a POW/MIA Protest Ride.
Obozo’s big birthday bash on Martha’s Vineyard is fine, though.
If half a million bikers decide to converge on one place - they’re going to. Stay out of the way, sell them as much stuff as you can and they’re generally pretty easy to get along with.

The cases comprising this static should have been audited for seriousness — because the media have been trying to get Americans to believe that every “case” is a person with a breathing tube.
A single 'study', by the the IZA Institute of Labor Economics out of Germany, without peer review, made lots of the 'news' programs & media with claims of 266,796 COVID-19 coronavirus cases and public health costs of $12.2 billion. Utter indignation was aimed at the organization and governments that permitted this horror to happen!
Later news reports from the CDC, much less publicized, pared back the ACTUAL COVID cases to 649 cases in 29 states - including one death. Even SNOPES, the LEFT-leaning 'fact checker', has the IZA report at 'Unproven', a version of their participation trophy, indicating a good try!
The MSM and government will be breathlessly reporting the end of the world again, just like last year when NOTHING came of it.
The gooberment will probably throw in some infected illegals to mix and mingle. I feel sorry for these people and how their being used........not the terrorists and punks they’re letting in via the cartels and this sorry Deep Dark State!
