House Democrats have hired former GOP Rep. Denver Riggleman to serve as an adviser to the Jan. 6 select committee, the panel chair announced late Friday.
Riggleman brings a background in intelligence and online extremism to the panel having served as a U.S. intelligence officer prior to his time in Congress. Riggleman sought a second term last cycle but lost the GOP primary despite receiving an endorsement from then-President Donald Trump. Since leaving office, Riggleman has become increasingly critical of the former president.
Democrats believe Riggleman's background will aid their probe as they seek to examine the circumstances surrounding the violent attack by Trump supporters on the Capitol earlier this year, including the actions of the former president and the security breakdown ahead of and during the assault.

He’s an embittered loser whom the local Party convention dethroned by a wide vote as their candidate for reelection to the House in favor of Bob Good after he served one term.

Anyone that would take a job from Satan was never on the Lord’s side to begin with . . .
But our side will probably never really learn to use discernment in finding out if their “conservative” candidate is actually a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I submit Adam Kinzinger as exhibit A.
And what an improvement Bob Good is over this loser.
He will be on the panel, unless he Riggles out of it.
I can just imagine this “committee” questioning suspects, “Are you now or have you ever been a patriotic American?”
I was glad when he lost. I’m not in his district but supported Good.

Unfortunatel phrasing in view of the fact that he officiated at a gay wedding.
So much for a classy first post. Hello, all.
I agree.
It’s one thing to be fooled by a Democrat who poses as a Republican in order to get elected. It’s an altogether different thing to keep reelecting that same RINO. That’s just stupidity.
“Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”
Republican voters never seem to learn.
