Murphy said the requirement applies to the start of the 2021-2022 school year, regardless of vaccination status.

While the COVID numbers in the Garden State are not as bad as many other states, cases there are five times higher than they were a month ago: about 1,000 new cases per day and climbing.

YOU STUPID A-HOLE VOTERS!!!!
Our friend is a teacher in NJ, hates Murphy and said she’ll quit if she has to teach with a mask on…I guess she’s quitting.
It’s amazing, a AR judge rules mandating anti-mask policies is illegal. Yet none rules that mandating mask policies isn’t. Why? Government should not mandate any of this crap regardless.
Knee-jerk (accent on “jerk”) politician.
Should be “Ewwww” Jersey :)
NJ is not a bad state overall but pretty much now politically and demographically ruined permanently. The voters are absolutely stupid voting the same garbage in as the state rots away.
They will move to Florida and vote for democrats....red states will disappear in a few years...

In Thursday’s edition of our local weekly newsrag our school system announced that masking would be voluntary this fall. I’d love to see them defy the Governor’s edict. Do not comply!
Wash masks daily..
Rinse with enough water so there's no soap residue left in the mask.
Explain risks and signs of oxygen deprivation etcetcetc
IIRC, many districts had virtual opt-outs last year (you could enroll your child in an cyber alternative). I wonder what those numbers are now and what they will be after this edict.
