With 30% of adults totally unvaccinated (50% in some areas), highly infectious Delta has room to rip - just as it has in other highly vaccinated countries (UK and Israel).
What is happening is within what the models predict, based o n the measured high (but marginally less) effectiveness against Delta.

Give us all a break! President Trump bears no responsibility for this thing going sideways. It has been Biden’s baby since January 20. At that time all the “vaccines” were effective. Since that time as expected and predicted by virologists the effectiveness has dropped off dramatically. Pfizer has held up the best with 39% effectiveness against the Delta variant which is a 20% drop in two weeks. The vaccines based on more traditional methods are now basically worthless which is why all over the world Pfizer and Moderna jabs are now advised as “boosters” for them.
Beaubo shame on you! You know that even the Pfizer is now only 39% effective against the Delta which represents a drop of 20% in two weeks. Stop pushing propaganda that you are well aware is completely false.

The first 17 minutes is an interview by deSantis of hospital officials alll over the state of Florida. They quote numbers and stats of the current situation including vaccinated vs unvaccinated, age of current covid patients, etc.
I think this is about as accurate as any set of numbers anywhere and a snapshot of where we are now.
Utter bullcrap. The CDC counted and sstudied the first 10k breakthrough cases and none were delta.

99% of the deaths are unvaccinated people. Around 97% of the people hospitalized are unvaccinated. There are 10s of millions of American adults who aren’t yet vaccinated. Some of them are getting really sick and dying. That’s really unfortunate.
If the vaccines weren’t working, we’d see lots of hospitalized, severely ill, and dying vaccinated people. In May 2021, 18,000 Americans died of COVID-19. 150 of them were fully vaccinated. That’s 0.8%. The other 99.2% were unvaccinated.
Explain that.

The vaccines were originally advertised as 95% effective. 165 million Americans have been vaccinated. 5% breakthrough cases would mean 8.25 million breakthrough cases. We haven’t seen 8 million. We haven’t seen 1 million. We’ve seen more like 125,000 breakthrough cases. So far, that’s 0.08%. Meanwhile, 99% of the deaths are among the unvaccinated.
Seems pretty effective to me.
The figures from Ohio regarding vaccinated vs unvaccinated hospitalizations include the statement they were counting all admissions since January. That’s disingenuous of them since vaccines were only available on a limited basis until March/April. Of course more patients would be unvaccinated until then!

Hospitals are now testing anyone who shows up at the ER for covid. So a broken leg patient is also tested for Covid.
Half the vaccinated covid positive patients came to the ER for something else. They did not know they have covid.I wonder if this is being done around the country and does account for increasing numbers of vaccinated covid vases.

Absolutely. I think we can all look at our communities and see that if the vaccines are failing at the rate being claimed by some here, we would know it from our own friends and neighbors. The numbers are simply not there.
Also, the current crop of patients are younger and unvaxxed..
