United Airlines Holdings Inc. UAL -0.02% will require its 67,000 U.S. employees to be vaccinated this fall, the first major airline to take this step as the Delta variant drives a nationwide increase in Covid-19 infections.
Airlines including United have so far tried to encourage workers to be vaccinated voluntarily, with incentives such as bonus pay or extra vacation.
In a letter to employees Friday, Chief Executive Scott Kirby and President Brett Hart said they expected that some would disagree with the decision but said the move was necessary to keep workers safe.

you might get that day(s) off whether you want them or not if you get the jab
Today the vaccine, tomorrow _________.
If they impose Vax on flyers, they’re toast.
so this happen every 6 months ?
During a flight they may get a report from the airport that all the pilots and the staff really did not have confirmed proof of their Covid jabs after all.
Each will be handed a parachute and ordered out of the plane so as not to violate Fauci’s and the CDC’s rules up there.
Better hope a passenger can fly and was over Macho Grande.
Since they are REQUIRING it, they’d better pray that all this stuff being said about the vaccine problems is false - cause they will own it now if any of it is true.
I am amazed by the number of companies forcing employees to get an experimental drug.
What does your pilots medical status say about experimental injected drugs? The medical validates your pilot license. Violate the medical and you’re grounded.
It will be interesting to see how many pilots and mechanics retire...
They will lose 20k employees...at least.
If 10% of the airline quits, then it will hurt United.
Furthermore, United is going to to be facing lawsuits for coercion and wrongful termination.
I am amazed by the push to distribute a vaccine that is already in arrears.
Do the planes avoid locations already infected with Delta?
Our Chinese-owned government ordered 200 million more doses of a vaccine that does not cover Delta.
If I worked for United Airlines, I’d quit!
If the unions strike over this, and they damn well oughta, mandating flyers won’t come into it.
Nobody will be flying.
4 British Airways pilots die in a week of something
We aren’t a republic anymore.
The law is whatever Deep State decides it is.
The only thing that will settle this hash is a strike. One where every union strikes, and all the employees stick together.
Franklin was right.
We either hang together, or will will surely hang separately.
Based on current America, 50% should say “Shove It up your own Arse” and fire US all if you dare.
