I heard a Demoncrat congressman talking about doing exactly that.
There was a clip of the usual media ‘personalities’ riffing on this last week. Ideas floated included
Make SS payments contingent upon proof of vacccination
Same for
Access to Medicare
Entry into ‘non-essential’ businesses like restaurants, gyms, sporting events and concerts
Fines imposed via the IRS — show your ‘vaccine passport’ as part of tax filings
Require private businesses, including retailers, to check patron’s ‘vaccine passport’ to allow entry
They were just getting warmed up.
The focus was on coercion, not outright force, but they don’t need force if they can just make the accumulated weight of resistance so heavy that only a few nonconformists remain.
Well, now we know that they have this particular ball rolling.
What do we do about it is all that is really left to discuss.
