How about this. End the moratorium and let me have my say in court. The tenant can plead their case and show their evidence I can show mine.

And they're evicted, you sue for back rent, they declare bankruptcy, you're out your money. Under my idea at least you get paid.

If I haven't got paid by now I'm not going to get paid. The federal aid was approved in January. Obviously the tenant does not qualify for aid. This is true for 90% of the supposed future evictions. My tenant is not even living in the apartment. Before she moved out Amazon was delivering packages twice a day. Furthermore I can only imagine the strings attached with whatever bill congress passes. I don't want to nationalize my property. I just want to go to court and move on. This moratorium is completely unconstitutional. And if this does not get a supreme court ruling against this order then look for all housing in the future to be nationalized.
