Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R-Margaritaville) had some choice words for Presidentish Joe Biden on Wednesday.
Responding to an attack by Biden, accusing DeSantis (and Texas Governor Greg Abbott) of failing to do “the right thing to beat this pandemic,” the Sunshine State guv had some things to say
“Why don’t you do your job? Why don’t you get this border secure?,” DeSantis asked rhetorically.
“Until you do that,” he continued, “I don’t wanna hear a blip about COVID from you, thank you.”

The only way this clip could have been better is if DeSantis had said, “I don’t wanna hear [BLEEP] about COVID from you,” only without a [BLEEP].
But I can be crude like that sometimes.
Despite campaign promises to act more “presidential” than former President Donald Trump was supposed to have acted, Biden lowered the tone of discourse yet again on Tuesday.
Biden accused the governors of Florida and Texas of lacking “leadership” and insisted they “at least get out of the way.”
While Florida and Texas do lead the nation in new COVID cases, the so-called surge of hospitalizations remains a minuscule fraction of what they were during the height of the pandemic.

I think the Biden strategy is to swamp the states that voted for Trump with illegals and Covid cases (Florida and Texas especially since they are the two biggest ) from illegals crossing the border and then let the mainstream media like MSNBC and CNN *BLAME* the Republican controlled states for their poor handling of the Coronavirus.

The South Texas border city of McAllen this week put up several tents to house an overflow of migrants with COVID-19 who have been released by federal authorities and have nowhere else to go. But the new tents drew such outcry from residents that late Wednesday city officials announced the facility was being moved.
Overnight Wednesday, six tents had been put up with a capacity to hold 260 migrants, McAllen City Manager Roel “Roy” Rodriguez told Border Report.
According to the city of McAllen, since mid-February of 2021, there have been over 7,000 confirmed COVID-19 positive immigrants released into the City of McAllen by Border Patrol, including over 1,500 new cases in the past seven days.
Add this to the DOJ under Merrick Garland warning Gov. Greg Abbott not to defend Texas from illegals, and then INTENT is clear.
Until the official determination of transmission status is changed from “vaccinated” to “Immune”, know that there is no science anywhere near the government position.
Those having recovered from an infection already have 6X the immunity breadth, scope and efficacy of those that have never been infected, recovered then were vaccinated.

Yep. A friend shared with me the other day that he had a routine Dr visit where he asked his MD if he needed the jab...the MD said “you had covid correct?” My friend confirmed he had and his MD stated unequivocally there was absolutely NO reason to get the covid vax.

Perhaps effective US Mexican border security would have been a good US public health measure.
MY SUGGESTIONS
Get us out of the from under the refugee convention so we are less likely to get new virus variants via Mexico. Then change US refugee law.

Agree. DeSantis is doing what R’s should do but they are too afraid to. DeSantis will therefore make the Republicans uncomfortable with his boldness and they will resist him the way they did to Trump.
The GOP is the embodiment of weakness.
I’m looking forward to having to decide which I’ll vote for in the primary: De Santis or Paul.
