The US media establishment “moved heaven and earth” to make President Joe Biden seem presidential at the CNN town hall, according to Sky News Digital Editor Jack Houghton.
“In America we are witnessing this issue played out in reverse as the gushing media establishment moves heaven and earth to make President Joe Biden seem presidential," he said.
“As Biden fronted the CNN town hall this week, his chief stenographer Don Lemon was on the case. And boy did Don come prepared with some tough questions for the ‘big guy’.”
Biden was asked to name one extraordinary moment since becoming president and instead of providing an answer, he rambled about being told to close doors.
“One thing, just one thing that has stood out to you during your time as the leader of the free world,” Mr Houghton said.
“But apparently it was cognitively too difficult for Biden who started rambling about times he’s been told to close the door and how often he is asked 'Mr President why are you going outside.'”
Mr Houghton said tragically, it wasn’t even the craziest thing to be said at the town hall, with the moment Biden starts raving about whether there is a man on the moon having gone viral this week.
“And it wasn’t just comically bizarre gaffes, Biden made plenty of factually incorrect statements, some of which Don Lemon helped him correct in the moment before quickly trying to move on,” he said.
“Geez, talk about a media protection racket. Could you imagine CNN doing that for Donald Trump, or any Republican if they made a slight mistake.”

Leaving an ineffective president in office will undercut the Democrats. Only the president in person can vigorously advocate a policy line, and get senators and congresscritters to cooperate in his program. Without a strong central point of control, various pretenders will pull in different directions and accomplish absolutely nothing. If no legislation passes, of course the Democrats will blame the Republicans, but the voters will blame the president.
Putin and Xi know the truth and are biding their time.

almost all Australian FakeNewsMSM, including much of Sky and taxpayer-funded ABC and SBS, run items in their news bulletins almost daily (as does BBC and no doubt other world media) that have Biden sounding strong, authoritative, coherent.
some have claimed there is a Biden physical double. I don’t.
but I do wonder if audio clips are sent to FakeNewsMSM with fake Biden voice. last week I tried to find a particularly strong Biden quote I heard on ABC or BBC, and couldn’t find it anywhere! something to watch.
The “man on the moon” rambling was totally out of context and bizarre.

I think they’ve encountered a problem with Harris. I, like darn near everyone else, didn’t think CornPop would last very long. I thought he’d be gone by now.
But I don’t think they knew exactly what they were getting with Harris. She was hated as a Senator. First one out due to no support. And, it appears she’s an absolute tyrant.
So I think their plans have been derailed. I’m thinking that she’ll be gone before CornPop.
We better hope both of them stay alive and well—because you _know_ if anything happens to either of them it will be blamed on “evil racist white supremacists” and they will create some creepy characters to read the lines in the narrative.
