Pvt. Felix Hall was barely an adult when he was found hanging from a tree on a segregated Army base in Georgia in 1941. His killers were never prosecuted but 80 years later, the US Army has unveiled a memorial to honor the Black soldier who is the only known victim of a lynching on a US military installation.

Anybody seen that very gross and offensive pic of TWO black soldiers hanging from a tree while the white folk were having a good time? It was downright sick. It was like a picture of a dead fetus the left can’t handle.
Racist Democrats unveil memorial to commemorate black soldier killed by racist Democrats
How about a memorial to the dozens of blacks killed by other blacks in the last two months?
How about a memorial for the Knoxville white couple that were killed by 5 blacks?
Didn’t think so.
Maybe this will help US win the next war. *eyeroll*
Maybe in 80 years. Lol.
What happened, did he refuse to take a vaccine?
If we put statues up of every person brutally and senselessly murdered by a black, we’d have no room for anything else!
I’m done going boo hoo for these people and playing along with this agenda.
Just keep beating that drum . . .
Just keep beating that drum . . .
Nothing like stoking the fire when most of us weren’t even alive back then and had ZERO to do with it.
Sick!
We had a cross burning by the KKK and retaliatory stabbings by the blacks on our ship (USS Independence CV 62) Back in 1980 sparking a full fledged race war for 3 days that almost ended in tragedy until our Captain (Watson) got on the intercom throughout the ship talking for 2 hours. I don’t remember what he said but it must have hit the spot because the blacks on starboard side of the ship and the whites on the port side started walking towards each other and we shook hands and hugged and went back to work.
The military brass to me seems to be stoking miscontent among the enlisted and officers as well. They don’t realize what kind of fire they are playing with.
How about a memorial for them?
Two comments:
1) I don’t have the slightest problem with a small memorial for that poor guy.
2) There’s no damn reason to capitalize either “black” *or* “white”.
Our company was made up largely of Southerners...Tennessee,Mississippi and Texas to be precise. We were mostly white with three or four black guys.
With what I had seen on the news for the last 5+ years I was convinced that there was gonna be trouble.
But to my surprise there wasn't a lick of trouble...from the white guys *or* the black guys.I guess that's because everyone had a common enemy...the drill sergeants!
For 70+ years the U.S. military has been the most integrated institution in the country. These days there seems to be a intentional determination to sow discord amongst the different races that for the past several decades have served together, eat, sleep, fight, lived, and died together.
Grammatically, both should be capitalized. Crayon colors such as black and white are common nouns. When discussing races and ethnicities, Black, White, Asian, Latino, etc. are proper nouns.
But the whole issue has been politicized by the racial grievance industry .
Was he killed by whites or blacks ? Nothing like leaving out the details.
