I've been saying since at least April, that the vaccines are creating the variants. And, every person who got the shot, is participating in the clinical trials. They're the guinea pigs who are being studied to gather data.
Variants were emerging well before a single vaccine was approved for use or administered. The now supposedly dominant Delta variant came from India at the time when vaccination rates in that area were very low and it was spreading there the most quickly at the time because of that. Variants emerge as a result of infections - as your body is a virus making factory when you are infected and will produce billions of viruses - it only takes one of the billions to have a mutation and then escape to infect another host to produce a variant spread. Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III clinical trials were all fully completed and peer reviewed prior to the authorization for use being granted for vaccinations.
