After all, Nixon was sure that he could beat conviction in the Senate, where he merely had to hold on to a third of the members in order to remain in office.
As gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson wrote at the time, any president who couldn’t use the vast powers of their office to keep 33 senators in line by hook or by crook wasn’t worth their salt and likely would have never become president in the first place.

It’s not so much what Cuomo did sexually, it was the intimidation that came afterward.

I’m so surprised you would vote for DeSantis over Trump. All those fun rally threads, I just figured you were a Trump fan
I am a Trump fan.
But in the long run it would be better if the torch would be passed onto DeSantis. I think DeSantis could put together a better team than Trump can at this point, because of the people that are already working for him in Florida. This was always Trump’s achilles heel.
I hope it works out that way. But I know a lot can happen between now and 2024, of course if it’s Trump again, I will enthusiastically support him.
