I have known of one person who died of COVID and he was elderly and had long-term COPD. His wife and mid-50s son also got it (from a worker who didn’t have the good sense to stay home while he was hacking up a lung) and both of them recovered nicely without going to the hospital. I have known two other mid-50s people who got it and recovered at home. I’ll believe what my eyes and experience tell me. Filtering through all this Panic Porn is exhausting.
I’ve known one person who died. A heart attack 10 years earlier left him with nearly half of his heart gone. He wasn’t expected to live 5 years but made it 10. Then died with COVID. Symptoms sounded like a second heart attack.
The others I know who got it all had mild symptoms lasting less than 48 hours.
