When you catch a virus, or when you get vaccinated against it, your immune system makes antibodies designed to attack and kill the virus. Regeneron’s entry directly infuses the blood with antibodies designed in a lab. It would be great if Regeneron could convert to administer via a vaccination, or better yet a pill.

The problem is these passive antibodies only last about 4’weeks then are degraded. For lasting protection. you need to stimulate your immune system to make it’s own. antibodies either through vaccination or infection
